Welcome to the Bustin Home Team website.  We, Bob and Cheryl Bustin, are the co-founders of the Bustin Home Team at RE/MAX Alliance.  As 32 years residents of Parker, Colorado and 14 year veterans in the real estate business, we are ready and able to meet all of your relocation needs.

We specialize in helping families relocate to the Douglas County towns of Parker, Franktown, Castle Rock, Larkspur, Lone Tree and Highlands Ranch.  Most real estate agents do not focus on any specific areas.  They try to carve out such a large territory (i.e. Denver Metro) that they might not even know how to drive you to your desired area without the aid of their GPS.  They are certainly not intimately familiar with such things as schools, shopping, traffic patterns, parks, medical facilities, recreation centers and on and on.

We have the experience and the credentials that you would expect of agents guiding you in your home buying decisions.  Before you pick your real estate professional, you should check them out thoroughly.  Check reviews, especially those on Google.  Google reviews are far and away the most reliable and hardest to obtain.  Most agents will not have any.  And, of course, read and watch the reviews that they have on their website. We have worked hard to earn the many reviews that we have received.

From the very beginning, good relocation real estate agents will try to find out as much as possible about you and your real estate "wants and needs".  And, your personal needs.  

We are genuinely interested in you, not just your business.  We want to know who you are, your personality, your situation.  Are you active?  Retiring? A family? Single? Where will you be commuting to for your job?  Your school needs for your children.  That sort of stuff.  It makes a difference in ultimately finding you the right home, in the right neighborhood and at the right price.

We will set you up on your own personal Client Portal through REColorado.  REColorado is the MLS provider that we, as agents, use.  So much better than the Zillow's of the world.

We will also send you dozens of Neighborhood Videos that we have produced, ourselves. These are not marketing videos.  They are designed to enable our out of state home buyers to view the best neighborhoods before they actually make their first home buying trip.  It's not unusual for our clients to have picked out their favorite neighborhoods (based on these videos) before their first trip.

We live, work and play here in Douglas County.  All of the towns that we specialize in are literally 5 to 10 minutes from our home.  It's easy for us to physically "cover our territory". We spend a great deal of our time previewing homes for our out of state clients.  We'll Facetime with them, or maybe take some additional pictures and videos of homes they are interested in.  We function as their "eyes on the ground" while they're back home.

We will help you find a hotel, rent a car, arrange for childcare, recommend restaurants and anything else you might need.  Give us your "home buying" trip needs and we will help you put it together.  We will be "turn key" for you.  Let us pick you up at the airport or your hotel.

Once you get here, we will be ready to get to work.  If you bring your family, we hop in our van.  It comfortably seats 7 adults. If it's just the two of you, we'll go in our SUV.  We don't do the "caravan" thing.  We need to be with you.  It allows us to get to know you.  And, point out important information as we drive in and around the communities.  Can't do that if you're in a car behind us.

We will spend at least half the first day just getting oriented to the communities that you are interested it.  By focusing on neighborhoods first, you will be able to get a feel for the various communities.  Once you pick your favorite subdivisions, we'll start looking at homes.  This is probably the most valuable (and time saving) time you will spend during your house hunt.  Very few agents take the time and make the effort to do this.  We require it.  It will also allow you to determine your work commute, where you can shop, nearby parks, medical facilities, schools, etc.. We feel that it is absolutely crucial that you have this overview of the entire area before you start looking at specific homes.

We will find you the right home, in the right neighborhood and at the right price.  By following our proven system of working with out of state home buyers. you will ultimately have success.  We believe that there are "no shortcuts" in real estate.
